Charapoana Island Lodge is situated on Charapoana Island which forms part of the chain of islands on the northern rim of the Marovo Lagoon. Its extensive coral reef along the shore line offers amazing snorkeling, and the local style accommodation provides a serene outlook over the lagoon. Whilst facilities are very simple, your hosts will make every effort to ensure your Solomon experience will be memorable.

Quite expensive for what it is-also it is advertised as including meals but the price is exclusive of meals which I didn't realise so we paid a lot more than expected.

We had a fabulous time visiting Charapoana Island. The location is gorgeous and our hosts made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The food was delicious, fresh, and healthy - we definitely did not go hungry! We saw all kinds of interesting wildlife including birds, goanas, fish, sharks, and a cute turtle who came in to feed on the seagrass out front each evening. All in all, Charapoana exceeded our expectations!

Because the toilet and shower were, how can I say, eco-friendly natural type, I didn't tick "great" in Cleanliness but actually it was very cleanly set and I specially liked the toilet. Wish they keep going that way.
About the services and activities, they were willing to help us all the time and we had a great time with the Charapoana family. Wonderful people. We want to go back.
