Ketry Halu built the original lodge after suggestions and assistance by a visiting yacht. Following Ketrys' death in December 2008, the Halu family decided that Elaynedad and her cousin Jae would continue her fathers dream to develop a successful eco lodge on Grandfather Halus' island. They plan to expand with a couple of separate bungalows in the future.
