This very convenient resthouse was built by donations collected by the Diocese of Chester which is the Church of England in Cheshire, the Borough of Wirral and parts of the Boroughs of Stockport, Halton, Warrington, Tameside and Trafford, and small portions of Derbyshire and Flintshire in England. Its central location and low cost makes it quite appealing for the budget minded.

All involved in Chstere were fantastic. The Borthers are a credit to the Melanesian Order and all the staff are very friendly and look out for you. Exceptional cleanliness and very safe for women to stay at. A great location as close to the market and to walk about. Would definitely stay at Chester again. A beautiful balcony at late evining with a lovely breeze. No aircon so this would be a consideration. unsuitable for backpackers. No alcohol or partying to respect the Melanesian Order. A wonderful stay.

All Good, except for noise from the street below and some neighbours, not the resthouse's fault.

amenities need upgrading ie showers and tiolets other wise great value
