Address: Ashlee Street, Lower Vavaea Ridge, HoniaraThis very convenient resthouse was built by donations collected by the Diocese of Chester which is the Church of England in Cheshire, the Borough of Wirral and parts of the Boroughs of Stockport, Halton, Warrington, Tameside and Trafford, and small portions of Derbyshire and Flintshire in England. Its central location and low cost makes it quite appealing for the budget minded.
Chesters Resthouse centrally located on the hillside behind the main road through town is easily seen from the city centre and an easy walk from the shops.
Take a taxi from Henderson International Airport travelling west for about 15 minutes. The fare should be about $100. Chesters is located on the same road as Mother Union Resthouse and Quality Inn.
When in town, its an easy 1 minute walk up a path and cement steps from Hibiscus Avenue near the fuel depot roundabout and the Hot Bread Kitchen. Just look up and see the sign!
