Getting there
By Plane: Solomon Airlines flighs 45 -60 minutes from Honiara and lands at Seghe airstrip.
By Boat: Fast boats departs Honiara 0700 twice a week ( weather dependant) and drop passengers at Seghe Village. Slower local passenger boats leave Honiara Sunday morning and arrive in the Lagoon off Chea Village for mid water disembarkation approx 10pm the same night. Small boats come to meet the ship and take passengers to the village which is 5 minutes away. Charges vary but will cost approx $20.
Local boats travel from Seghe to the village and are easily arranged onsite at arrival. This will cost about $50. Be prepared for wet boat crossings as they are weather dependant.
