Chubikopi Resthouse is an accommodation run by a committee from the local village community. Sitting at the waters edge of the Marovo Lagoon provides a magnificent outlook over the lagoon. This resthouse was established in 2000 to facilitate community and regional meetings allowing government officers, health workers, conservation organisations and church groups to remain in the area whilst conducting their work. In 2006 the resthouse was open to visitors in the area. All income is collected for community projects such as the church.
