The guest Lodge is close to Emu Harbour which is the only protected harbour on Ranongga Island. Facilities are basic, but the access to the environment makes it a marvellous spring board for bird and butterfly enthusiasts as well as access to snorkelling reefs and marine life such as dolphins and dugong. Visitors have access to walking tracks to visit bush regions untouched by logging or any distubance to the endemic bird species such as the Ranongga White Eye.
Self catering facilities with gas stove are supported by a local 'canteen' selling tin fish, tea, sugar, milk, rice and biscuits. Kerosene lamps provide light in the evening.
