Gizo WW2 - Tour 1
This day of WW2 related snorkelling is historical, beautiful and challenging. After our morning departure for the Stuart Tank at Tahitu, we will visit a Japanese underground hospital on Kolombangara Island. Expect 6-8 inches of mud in the hospital caves!. On the return trip we can snorkel over a Hellcat fighter plane in 9 metres of water.
Throughout the day you will receive commentary about WW2 history in the Solomon Islands and the region.
- Departure for the Stuart Tank at Tahitu.
