Maguru Eco-Lodge offers a marvellous opportunity to experience the true Solomon Islands with a touch of Western conveniences. The leaf house accommodation is nestled into the edge of the fringing mangroves, allowing guests a front seat view of the local bird life and the marine life that use the mangroves as a nursery.
Chocko's family look forward to showing you the local sights including WW11 artifacts, custom Tabu sites, natural springs, waterfalls and the great fauna and flaura. Like many of the islands of the Solomons, Kolombangara Island has numerous endemic species of birds and terestial creatures.
Facilities & Services
Lodge guests can self cater or take advantage of the great local meals prepared by the staff. Fresh seafood and garden vegetable evening meals costs $60 SI. Transportation to and from Gizo town is easily arranged and is also available for the various tours offered.
