Benjamin and Jilly Kaniotoku
Matikuri is owned and run by Benjamin Kaniotoku, who comes from the nearby village of Bopo, and his wife Jilly who is from Nazareth village. Benjamin is one of the Lumolo family whose ancestors have lived in the area for hundreds of years, and the village of Bopo has ancient petroglyphs.
