Niami Guest House
Sustainability
The Tanito Family have been involved with conservation since Cherry commenced work with WWF based out of Gizo in 1996. The idea of accommodating visitors in their village on Ranonnga goes back longer than that, but Cherry and his brother Gaga decided it was a good way to involve their families in preserving their heritage whilst making a little income. They have been involved with a number of cross cultural orientation programs for overseas workers involved in assistance work to the Solomon Government.
