Fantastic sunrises, sparkling blue water and reef, coupled with great marine and bird life make this an obvious choice for a perfect get away. Oravae Cottage is located in the Gizo lagoon, just 12- 15 minutes by motorized canoe from the airstrip at Nusa Tupe. Built from local materials and a great use of drift wood, the Oravae Cottages nestle amongst coastal trees and coconut palms with verandahs perched over the tranquil lagoon. A perfect escape, to get away from it all and be at one with nature.
Oravae Escape Cottage is located on a small private island near Sepo Island,off Western Ghizo .
Flights to Gizo arrive at Nusatupe Airfield. Patson will transfer you by motorised canoe to Oravae which takes approximately 12minutes travelling west. For those arriving by passenger boats to Gizo town , the transfer takes a similar time. As you will be travelling by open boat its best to carry a spray jacket and sun protection.
