Address: Chinatown, Gizo, Western Province., Gizo view mapThe Pt 109 Guesthouse is conveniently located on the waterfront at the western end of Chinatown in Gizo. It was opened in September 2008 and stands on the site of the well known and popular Divers Lodge which burnt down over 7 years ago.
The guesthouse is on the second floor with the Blue and Avocado rooms situated on the split level up three flights of stairs. The Salmon room opens onto a shared living area. Directly in front, on the waters edge is the PT 109 Resturant and Bar which provides the best meals and coldest beer in town including delicious seafood and local dishes. It is also the home of the Gizo Yacht Club. Evening entertainment includes an open air disco 2-3 nights a week.
With Dive Gizo for sporting activities across the road, shops only 2 minutes away, and the fruit and vegetable markets within 5 minutes walk you can easily self cater for light meals that dont need cooking. The stove is not available at present but yiu can enjoy the convenience of the Restaurant and Bar..
The Pt 109 Bar, Restaurant and Guesthouse combines comfortable simple accommodation with entertainment ensuring a memorable stay in the Solomons.
The shared living area has a kitchenette which includes a refrigerator and sink . Inhouse guests are offered a 15% discount on dinner at the PT109 Restaurant.
