Phoebes Guesthouse was established mid 1980's. An older style house set on a hillside looking over the entrance to Gizo Harbour, with marvellous views looking eastward towards Kolombangara Island and the New Georgia group. Guests enjoy its convenient location close to the hospital and 10 minutes walk from the markets.
Phoebe's Rest House relaxing location is up on a hill enjoying nice views of Gizo's islands and fresh breezes flowing through. It's an easy walk from the centre of town and the shopping district.
Solomon Airlines fly from Honiara to Nusatupe Airfield on Nusatupe Island. Boat transfers cost SDB 60.00 per person to the Hotel wharf in Gizo. Passenger boats from Honiara and other destinations arrive at the Government Wharf opposite the Gizo Hotel . From the Government or Hotel wharf taxis are available for $10 SBD or alternatively walk past the Police station and take the first lane on the left on the hillside. Phoebes is at the end of the lane.
