The hotel provides an ideal base for visiting business people and is a great location for holiday makers. The hotel's rooms, include the newer Executive Suite and Executive Rooms plus the established double, twin rooms and suites which are all air-conditioned with ensuite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, direct dial telephones, satellite TV and in-house video. The Junior Suite and 30 Seaview Rooms have recently been renovated to bring them up to the standard of the more stylish Executive Rooms with new furnishing and curtains. Currently the Westwing Seaview rooms are being tiled.
The Capitana Restaurant offers a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner, with both Western and Japanese cuisines available. The restaurant also offers a mid week seafood buffet, followed by a performance of island dancing, which is very popular with both locals and hotel guests.
A Honiara favourite is the Hakubai Restaurant, offering genuine Japanese Cuisine in a traditional setting. Delicious dishes like sushi, sashimi, sukiyaki and sizzling tepanyaki grills are regular menu choices.
The courtyard cafe serves guests snacks and coffee, or for a cool sundowner, visit the poolside terrace for a glass of wine or a refreshing ale.
The Business Centre offers Internet connection via the hotels computer or own service and Photocopying. Their extensive Gift Shop offers local crafts, maps and jewellery.
To improve internet services for guests, the hotel now has its own wireless internet service. Connection in the Garden and Westwing rooms is wireless and via Ethernet cable in the Eastwing Rooms. Guests have a choice of prepaying a voucher at the front desk or connecting online providing their name and room number so that the billing will be added to the account at the end of your stay. Charges are comparable to the Hotspot system used previously . Solomon Telekom Bumblebee cards can still be used if preferred.
