Annette and her husband moved to Tulagi in 1991 to set up a bakery. Friends suggested they build a lodge for guests as well, as the property along the waterfront was quite large. Unfortunately her husband died in an accident after just 6 months leaving her to manage alone. Annette is originally from Bellona.
7 years ago the bakery was converted into a Dive Centre and the lodge now proudly caters for guests coming over to enjoy the rich WWII history and great dive sites Tulagi has to offer, as well as general travellers to the area.
