Pacific Arts Festival LogoThe Pacific Arts Festival which is hosted by different countries every four years,  will be hosted by the Solomon Islands this year.This event has been developed by the Secretariat Of The Pacific Community. The event is all about sharing and exchanging traditional culture at each festival and will involve about 27 Pacific Islands and Territories including others on the Pacific Rim. The programme is yet to be published.

The Festival Theme is “CULTURE IN HARMONY WITH NATURE”

 

Culture and Nature are thought to be the cornerstone to the existence of Pacific people. The festival will be highlighting performaces and arts which are strongly tied to the history of the regions and continued traditions.
