Komolo Village Stay offers their guests an opportunity to experience true Melanesian culture and day to day village activities including collecting food, gardening, fishing, house construction, cultural song and dance, as well as enjoy swimming and snorkeling right off the beach out front from the bungalows. It is located on Epangga Island, a 3 minute boat ride from Gizo the Provincial Capital of the Western Province.
Komolo Village Stay is located on the south-western end of Epangga Island looking towards Gizo Town, the Provincial Capital, which is 3 minutes travel by motorised boat.

Flights arriving from Honiara and other destinations land at Nusatupe Airfield near Gizo and the staff from Komolo Village Stay will meet you. The boat ride is only 3 minutes to the island and tranfers charge from Nusatupe is $35 SBD per person one way. For those arriving by passenger boat, the Komolo Village Stay staff pick up their guests from the Government Wharf in Gizo town when the ship docks. Additional cost SBD $50 per person for either pick up or drop off one way.
There is no wharf on the island so guests arrive with a 'wet' landing in the shallow sand area at the front of the village. A spray jacket is suggested for boat rides in case of rain or wind conditions.
