Pickup info

Guests will be met at the main wharf where the ships tenders will drop off and pick up guests. Our vehicle will drive you to the dive center to meet up with the boat that will travel along the north west coast of Ghizo Island.

We have a special diving day for guests traveling on Pacific Eden this August 13 and September 2nd.  Dives will include the Toa Maru WW11 wreck with surface interval including a BBQ lunch on Njari Island,  followed by a dive at Grand Central Station. There is also plenty of time to snorkel or siesta under the shade of a tropical palm! Dive profiles suit novice to experienced divers.

  • Group size: from 1 to 8 people
  • Pickup location: Guests will be met at the main wharf where the ships tenders will drop off and pick up guests. Our vehicle will drive you to the dive center to meet up with the boat that will travel along the north west coast of Ghizo Island.
  • Drop-off location: Guests will be returned at the end of the day to the dive center or main wharf depending on whether you wish to stroll through Gizo township before going back to the ship.
  • Pickup time: (8.00 AM - 9.00 AM)
  • Drop-off time: (3.00 PM - 4.00 PM)

Itinerary

Pick up from Gizo main wharf 8 - 9:00am straight from ships  tenders

Set up gear and depart  Dive Gizo wharf on diveboat at 9: 30am

9: 45am Toa Maru Wreck

10: 45 am Travel to Njari Island for surface interval- snorkeling , swimming, beach combing, beach sports

12:00 BBQ lunch

1:30pm Dive at Grand Central Station

3-3:30pm Set off for Gizo and drop off at Gizo main wharf for ship transfer

 

Cancellation Policy

Up to 2 weeks prior to the activity date, a booking fee will be charged of $ 200 for cancellations, with no refund on bank fees taken with payments. Less than 2 weeks prior to travel, no refund  including changes to the ships schedules.

Participant Guidelines

All divers must show proof of training with a recognised dive training agency and preferably have a log book. It is also manditory that divers take out DAN evacuation insurance or similar travel insurance. The closest Chamber is in Honiara.

Other Disclosures

Price based on use of own gear. Hire gear costs an additional $40 AUD . Credit card payments attract an additional 3.8% bank fee.
