Ravihina Homestay offers visitors accommodation in a casual homely atmosphere with spaceous living areas. The house is surrounded by tropical gardens in suburban Dunde Village. Shops, restaurants and government offices are an easy stroll along the pictuesque coastal road which looks out over the Roviana Lagoon.
Myrie Tema was born and raised in Munda. As a registered nurse, she met her husband Joseph who comes from Rennell, whilst working in Honiara. They returned to Munda and had 4 children and now have 12 grandchilren. Ranihina was built with their future in mind. Once the children were grown up and away from the family, Joseph saw the need for a project that would keep them occuiped and with some income. When Joseph died in 2007, the children assisted in completing the building.
Myrie works today as a registered nurse in financial administration working with the United Church health division overseeing 4 clinics and Seghe hospital. She looks forward to taking on looking after guests full time and joining her 4 staff in the near future.
