Sea Lodge is located beside Chuchulu Village and sheltered by the MindeMinde Islands inside the Marovo Lagoon. The lagoon walkways and verandah offer tranquil lagoon views and the sea breezes temper the near constant tropical temperatures.
The setting is complimented by the traditionally built leaf haus bungalow built over the water, or alternatively the open air lounge next to the budget rooms offering affordable acommodation in the heart of the Marovo Lagoon.
The lodge has simple self catering facilities. There are no large shops close by, but groceries can be purchased at local canteens or back in Seghe which has better stocked trade stores. Recent renovations include a leaf house restaurant over the water with cane chairs and table to complete the setting.
Jeremiah can arrange lots of interesting local tours and activities which take advantage of the the great culture and surrounding natural sites. Priced per person in Solomon Dollars: Bird Watching $100 , Snorkelling $150 lunch is included, Chuchulu Village Visits $200 ,Fishing $150 includes fuel, Bush Hiking $150 , Kayaks $200 for full day use and Crocodile Sightseeing $100. They can also demonstrate local cooking methods and weaving activities to build leaf panels for houses, make mats and baskets as well as shell hanging macrame for decoration.
Meals: Breakfast menu is home cooked buns or pancakes with fruit, coffee and tea for $45.00. Lunch menu offers fish cooked in local soup or BBQ Fish with rice or sweet potatoes and salad at $55.00. Dinner $65 Menu simmilar to lunch, with optional seafood combination and salad.
Boat transfers from Seghe to Sea Lodge or Sea Lodge to Uepi is $400 per trip by fibreglass canoe and 40HP motor. Price is for up to six passengers..
