Vera Rane is conveniently located 5 metres off the coastal road on the forest side of Paeloge village in West Ghizo. From Gizo town it is approximately 20-30 minutes’ drive on a public transport. Opposite Vera Rane Home Stay is the Vera Rane 50 dollars beach where many of the town dwellers go to spend their time with their families during weekends and public holidays. The accommodation was built as a homestay and it was design to suit the travellers who are looking for a village getaway experience and spent their leisure time doing surfing, since its location is just like 5 minutes’ walk to the surfing site.

Flights arrive at Nusatupe and a boat transfer of $60 SBD gets you to Gizo. By passenger boat arrival will be at the government wharf.
From the market area near the Gizo Hotel jetty you can get public transport to West Ghizo for just $10.00 per person. The transport is an open back truck, so be prepared for sun or rain protection. Whilst travelling you will pass a number of villages before reaching your destination and have an opportunity to chat to local villagers. The transport will take approximately 35 to 45 minutes’ depending on the status of the road and number of passengers. Another option would be to take a taxi which is $150.00 one way and is more comfortable.
