The King Solomon Hotel was developed on the site of an older hotel in the 1990s, on a terraced hillside position. Each terrace level is accessed by the cable car which travels through a hillside garden. Its central location provides an ideal base for visiting business people and is also a great spot for holidaymakers. It’s only a 4-5 minute stroll to the Honiara Yacht Club and Honiara’s restaurants, shopping, and commercial area.

The one and two-bedroom hotel rooms and studio-style apartments are set out in terraced rows up the hillside and are accessed by a central cable car that travels through a garden setting. The newly renovated gym is located poolside on the 1st level. Guests are invited to enjoy regular evening entertainment at the restaurant and weekend lunchtime BBQs by the pool. The restaurant offers Pacific fare as well as Thai Cuisine and great pizzas cooked in the wood fire oven situated in the garden beside the dining area. Buffet breakfast is served in the Bamboo Bar Cafe from 6 am. Guests can enjoy a drink at the 3 bars located near the lobby or a coffee and light meal at the Bamboo Bar on the premises.

Conference facilities catering for up to 200 people is located amongst the gardens. Free WiFi is available in the lobby and restaurant, and staff is available at the 24-hour reception and security desk.
